    Editorial Policy & Sources

This page explains how content on PepCalcs is written, what it is allowed to claim, and where reference figures come from.

    Last updated

    Sourcing

Peptide library entries are compiled from publicly available sources: peer-reviewed literature indexed in PubMed, compound records in PubChem, regulatory labelling where a compound has an approved product, and manufacturer documentation. Where a library entry has source links, they are shown on that entry.

    • PubMed — https://pubmed.ncbi.nlm.nih.gov/
    • PubChem — https://pubchem.ncbi.nlm.nih.gov/
    • DailyMed (US product labelling) — https://dailymed.nlm.nih.gov/

    What we will not publish

    • Invented citations, studies, statistics or credentials.
    • Claims of efficacy, safety or therapeutic benefit for compounds that are not approved for that use.
    • Dosing recommendations. Ranges shown in the library are reported reference figures from published sources, not advice.
    • Fabricated reviewers, ratings, endorsements or affiliations.

    Corrections

If a figure or description on the site is inaccurate, use the contact page to report it. Corrections are applied to the underlying data so every page that reads from it updates at once.

    Authorship

Reference and guide content on PepCalcs is written and maintained by the PepCalcs editorial team. The site does not claim medical authorship or clinical review, and does not attribute content to clinicians it does not employ.
