    About the Peptide Nasal Spray Calculator

    Peptides commonly delivered as nasal sprays — Selank, Semax, PT-141, Kisspeptin-10, Epithalon — need a two-step calculation: first the reconstituted vial concentration, then the volume drawn into a spray bottle and the mcg-per-spray delivered by that bottle.

    This calculator does both. Enter the peptide mg, the mL you extracted into the spray bottle, the bottle's total volume, and either the total number of sprays the bottle delivers or your target dose per spray. You'll get the exact mcg (or mg) per spray, the saline volume to top up with, and the total sprays available.

    Typical spray bottles deliver 0.1 mL per pump; a 30 mL bottle gives roughly 300 sprays. If your vial was 10 mg and you drew 2 mL into a 30 mL bottle (topped up with 28 mL of sterile saline), the whole bottle contains 10 mg — divided over 300 sprays, that's about 33 mcg per spray.

    Do I need to add saline?

    Saline dilutes the reconstituted peptide up to your bottle's total volume, giving you a predictable mcg-per-spray dose. Sterile saline (0.9%) is the standard choice.

    Can I use bacteriostatic water instead of saline?

    For very short-term use bacteriostatic water works, but sterile saline is closer to intranasal-physiological pH and osmolarity for regular research spraying.
