    How the conversion works

    This is the inverse of the mg-to-units conversion. If you've drawn a certain number of units on a U-100 syringe, you can find the mg dose by: mg = (units × concentration in mg/mL) ÷ 100.

    Example: 10 units from a 5 mg/mL vial = (10 × 5) ÷ 100 = 0.5 mg.
